Laura Lomas, writer of A Background Noise, which was produced as part of Momentum Festival 05, has adapted a literal translation of The Woods for the Out Loud season.
“This play is about children, but it is not intended to be performed by or for children, nor to be acted in a childish manner. Pain is pain and joy is joy, in the same way for children as for adults. That is the important thing.”
A rehearsed reading of The Woods was presented at Nottingham Playhouse, on Monday 10th October, at 7.30pm.
