This year, TWP has been working with Emma Rosoman, Children’s Writer in Residence, as part of a special initiative created by the Arts Council.
Emma’s first play, The One With The Oven, was on at the Royal Court, and since then she has worked as a writer and workshop leader for different companies.
Since her residency started, Emma has written two mirror plays for Roundabout Theatre in Education, which have been performed around schools in the region.
Emma has also been very involved in our young writers’ project, Momentum, and she is currently the workshop leader on our two young writers’ groups in Leicester and in Nottingham.
At the moment, she is working on an adaptation of Tove Jansson’s The Summer Book.
